Zoology 3, Lesson 13 Worksheet

**For the Lesson 13 worksheet set, question 8 requires you to add in a picture of a spider so the various parts of the spider anatomy can be labeled. I chose to draw the picture that has the parts labeled on it, which is located on the bottom left-hand corner of the first page of Lesson 13 (page 229.)

**Note there is a question in this worksheet set (question 30) that requires your CHILD to draw in various types of webs. Obviously, you aren’t required to put the pictures in there because that’s up to them, but if you’re just going through the worksheets quickly, you might not realize it’s something they have to do and not something you have to put in there for them, so I figured I’d give everyone a heads up.

Zoology 3, Lesson 13 Test

**The Lesson 13 test set includes several test question that require you to put in pictures or diagrams. Questions requiring pictures include 12, 13, and one picture for questions 23-25. Question 12 and 13 require two different types of webs – of your choice – for your child to identify. Questions 23-25 require a picture of a scorpion like that under the “Scorpions” section, which is located at the bottom of page 239.

Zoology 3, Lesson 14 Worksheet

Zoology 3, Lesson 14 Test

**Note that, for the Lesson 14 test, a couple of pictures need to be added. Question 9 requires a picture showing larvae then a snail, and then a bird (see an example here), and then Question 12 of the test requires a picture of a snail with its internal anatomy so various parts can be labeled, much like the one shown in the “Gastropod Anatomy” section of the lesson, on the bottom of page 251.

Thank you so much for sharing these! I was about to make my own & decided to search for some first…you saved me a lot of time. My boys aren’t into notebooking, so the journals were going to waste because we just did the review questions & crosswords. Thanks again!!

  3. admin says:

  6. Kayla Stewart says:

Wow!! This resource is wonderful – I, all of a sudden, had to help with our science class at our co-op and was asked to put together a test – this has saved me soooo much time!! Since my husband is working out of town now and i’m still homeschooling my 8 children, along with teaching a writing class at our co-op, this is a blessing beyond belief!!!! THANK YOU for all your work!

  7. admin says:

I love to hear when these files have been of help to people! Glad they worked out for you and saved you time.

  8. You are amazing! Thanks so much. I just can’t believe I am at the day before the last day of Zoology 3 before discovering this resource. Since we have not done Apologia in order, I am hoping to find what I need for future years ahead of time!

  9. admin says:

Glad you found these. Hope they help!

  10. Dani says:

Thank You so, so, so MUCH!!! These have been such a BIG help to me and my child! Will you be doing these for all of the Apologia books? Also, What happened to Chapter 12 in Zoo 3? I didn’t see any worksheets or tests for the Chapter on Dinosaurs. Thanks again for all you have done!!

  11. admin says:

It’s nice to hear when my work is of use to others. Sorry about there not being any set for Chapter 12. I believe there is an explanation somewhere on my site (not sure where now, though) on why I didn’t have worksheets for that chapter. That is a lesson that, for whatever reason, I had my son just read the chapter, then get some books from the library on dinosaurs, and had him just do a report on it.

  12. C Morris says:

Thanks for this wonderful resource. My kids are loving zoology and this is a tremendous help to us. Is there any test for Lesson 6? Thanks

  13. admin says:

There is no test for Lesson 6. I’m sorry.

by chance (stumbleupon). I’ve book-marked it for later!

  29. Zinnada Hodges says:

    Thank you!!

  30. Cammie says:

Cannot begin to tell you what a blessing all of your worksheets and tests have been! My boys have been getting so much more out of the lessons now that they have to slow down enough to fill in the worksheets. I also am getting a lot out of it because I’m filling in my own copy for a grading sheet 🙂 Thank you so very much!!!

  31. Abbi says:

Thank you SO MUCH for these!! We have loved this series, but did not like the notebooking journal sold along with it. These are just what I have been looking for!

  32. Susan Frickel says:

Good grief- you are a genius and a saint!!! I started homeschooling my son in 6th grade this year and we chose chemistry and physics only to learn there were only 5 lessons in chemistry! The notebook drove me bonkers with no real instruction. My son really wanted to do zoology and the idea of a new notebook literally made me want to cry! You are a Godsend with your material and tests!! Thank you for saving my sanity!

  33. Melissa says:

THANK YOU FOR SHARING THESE WORKSHEETS! I have your site bookmarked for these worksheets in particular! They help SO MUCH for having something to fill out as we go through our reading. I just found your website a couple of lessons ago, we are now in Lesson 12 and I miss the worksheets already 🙂 Thanks again from one homeschool mom to another. This would not be my strong point!

  34. Erin says:

Do you have a test for Lesson 6? Or could you share how you tested the material for that Lesson? There are so many suborder names that I’m finding it hard to put it in test form for 5th graders.

  35. homeschooler says:

Hello. Sorry for the delay in my response. I explain here that I used the Lesson 6 worksheet set as an open-book test rather than doing a separate test. http://homeschoolingisfun.com/curriculum/science/zoology-3-lesson-5-and-lesson-6-files-added/

  36. homeschooler says:

Is there a link to any worksheets for Zoology 3 chapter 12, Dinosaurs??

  37. homeschooler says:

I’m sorry. I did Chapter 12 differently for that book and just had my son read the chapter and we took out some other books from the library on that one, I believe. I thought I had completed the Chapter 12 set later on, but I’m not quite sure if I never did them as planned, or if I just never posted them (and where they went if I did actually do those).

  38. iptv box says:

    Hello,nice share.

  39. Sha says:

LOVE the worksheets and test for Zoology 3. Have a quick question: do you have an answer key for the worksheets ?

  40. homeschooler says:

No, there are no answer keys. Sorry.
