Virginia is GORGEOUS?!! Green. Green. GREEN. Lots of trees. It’s just a beautiful place, and driving it is so much fun! Dealing with the expressway signs isn’t always the easiest thing in the world here in Virginia, but so far I haven’t managed to get TOO lost. Yesterday was an exception though, and even though I was lost I was having FUN because it was just so beautiful to be driving through the area, I didn’t care at the time if I was driving 10 or 20 miles out of the way(I didn’t actually, it ended up circling back around like I thought it would – eventually.)

Index Cards. Notes? Flashcards? …Fun?

Index cards are something that are cheap enough, especially at back-to-school time. I use them for various purposes for myself, and knew with my son learning addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, we’d have a high demand for them. I stocked up. Little did I know I’d come up with various ways to use them that have nothing to do with the “typical” way we think of using index cards.

The same boring topics become exciting and fun when I pull out the index cards. I have used them (more…)
